Thank you for all the years of Community discussions and activity!

The time has come for us to retire the community forums, but we will keep everything available for reading. There is a lot of valuable content written over the years, and you'll be able to access all of that. However, no new posts can be written, or old posts modified.

If you have questions, we recommend you use the Support function on the bottom right corner to contact our Customer Support directly.

Alternatively, if you wish to engage in a community discussion with other people, there are many active forums available. There is also an active, fan managed GENELEC COMMUNITY in Facebook, and many Genelec employees are active in the discussions there.

We are sorry for any possible inconvenience this may cause you, but we hope to hear from you through the other channels mentioned above.

i do not understand this steps :-  from Running GLM 3 software in Catalina (10.15)

i did step 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 and half 5 after it do not understand some help or video tutorial ?!

and what is mean USB power supply ? ( 1. Power the GLM Adapter USB with a standard USB power supply (not a computer) )

new macOS Big Sur 11  its coming really you don't have update or upgrade yet ?!!! i bought my Genelec pack and GLM system in September 2019 ! not yet used waiting for update !

You can now do all loudspeaker setup and calibration operations by booting into Mojave. You can store the settings into the monitors and subwoofers permanently and then return (reboot) back to Catalina for normal operation.

You can configure the GLM Adapter to use the hardware volume controller independent of the computer. To do this

Power the GLM Adapter USB with a standard USB power supply (not a computer)

Attach the hardware volume controller

For more details on the hardware volume controller, visit https://www.genelec.com/optional-hardware and https://www.genelec.com/9310a-wired-volume-controller for the wired volume controller and https://www.genelec.com/9101a-wireless-volume-controller for the wireless volume controller.

Step 6

After the acoustic setup has been completed you can remove the older partition where GLM 3 has been installed. If your disk space allows, you can keep the GLM 3 installation in your computer in case you want to return to adjusting your loudspeaker setup later.

To remote the partition containing GLM 3 software

Boot into Catalina

Use the DiskUtility tool, and select the other partition containing the GLM 3 software

Remove the partition
