Small dance floor

Hi,

I have been studying quite a bit about wich combo to go and have alot of difficulty to make the decision.
We have private club that has small dance floor about 30m2 and we have managed with 5* 8020B + 7050B package.
This has worked Ok for easy listening, but now would want more club feeling what comes to sound.

So, to the question.. Is it better to to have more speakers example 4*8040 vs 2*8050?

Not sure wich would be better.. I would think the 2*8050 should be the way to go. Since it has already good bass and should be able to deliver enough boom stand alone or is sub still required in this set up?

How this is compared to have 4*8040's? Would this set up definately require an sub?

Would seem safest to start with the 8050's, since if two dont cut it easy to get expand with more and/or even add a sub.

Heh, not the most stuctured message but would love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I would start with 2*8050 because club music requires good bass extension so therefore 8040 would still need a subwoofer. Also if one day you conclude that two speakers won't give you enough maximum SPL, it's easy to add more. :)
