8010a desk stand options

Hi, I hae a great pair of 8010's that I recently place on some yoga blocks to get some height off the desk and no doubt they improved ths sound quality. With the mounting at the bottom of the speakers is it advisable to use a small desk mic stand as an alternative stand for these monitors? Will this affect the sound quality? Im mostly wondering if the vibrations would go through the mic stands and cause the same mid-frequency issues from placing it right on the desk.

The yoga blocks most likely do their job well, as long as you are keeping the Iso-Pods with the monitors. You can read more information about our Iso-Pod stands from link below:

Thank you for the link. I guess my question is more about the 3/8 mounting point on the bottom of the 8010 and what is the recommended use of that mounting point. In my case I'm considering just having a small desktop mic stand mounted straight to the speaker to raise the speaker height, is this its intende/ advisable use?
