F One subwoofer for 8020?

Youngling Viestejä: 1 Liittymispäivä: 24.9.2018 Viimeisimmät viestit

Hey,

What kind of subwoofer would you recommend for 8020D speakers? I understand 7040A would fit perfectly but is F One another option aswell?  How much do they differ, aside from different connectors? Currently running 8020s through a DAC and preamp but with F One the only way to control volume is with the remote, right? Listening distance approx. 1,5 meters.

7040 is better of course, more weight and volume.

you can connect a volume remote to f one sub, but thats optional, unneccesary if you have preamp.

ideally you'd get two subs for real full range stereo.

don't know how bananas you wanna go in the long run, two 7350 or 7360 subs would be even better
