Question before buying used Genelec speakers on B&H

I'm thinking about buying a pair of used Genelec speakers on B&H (I live in the United States). According to B&H used product policy, the speakers are out of warranty. But I'm pretty sure these were sold by Genelec USA originally so they're most likely not grey market.

If I need to have them repaired in the future, I'll have to send them to Genelec, correct? Also, are repair costs expensive?

Hi!

Genelec normally gives 2-year warranty to a new products, and this may also be calculated from the serial number if there is no original receipt or if the products are 2nd handed.

It is also possible to register the products to extended spare part warranty from link below:

https://www.community.genelec.com/product-registration

During warranty time the warranty repair should be done in the country where the product have been originally sold to. If there is no warranty, the monitor can be repaired with normal costs by any service of our distributors. You can find our distributors from link below:

https://www.genelec.com/where-buy

If you would like me to check the warranty situation with your product, please send us e-mail to support@genelec.com and include the full serial number with the product name, or take a picture of the serial number and send it to us.

Best Regards,
Jani Oksanen
