1029A with 7350/7360 sub

Hi,

I have a spare 6 units of old 1029A speakers and would like to setup a small 5.1 at home for work, due to the pandemic. I also have a 1091 sub that I used to use with a stereo pair of 1029´s, but I understand if I use it as a pure Lfe channel, I loose the bass management of the speakers, due to lack of inputs. Therefore, I was thinking about getting a 7350 or 7360 so that I could use it for Lfe and bass management of the 5 speakers. Questions:

1- From the connection diagrams that I did check, the connection of the 1029´s to the 7350/7360 is done from the speakers sub out to the sub analogue ins, as is with the 1991. Can it be done feeding the source first to the sub ins and from there to the main speakers input, so that I can bass manage the speakers from the sub settings?

2-As the 1029´s are not smart speakers, but the 7350/7360 are, is there any way that I can use GLM 4 to calibrate( EQ, phase align and set time of flight) the 1029´s from the sub? I ask this question because I´ve read that the new Neumann MA1 monitor calibration system allows their non DSP models to be calibrated if using their DSP subwoofer which has an ethernet connector and direct control from the calibration software. Meaning that the sweeps are generated from the sub to the non DSP speakers for alignment procedures. Can GLM do the same, or I´m asking for the impossible?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or info.
