Thank you for all the years of Community discussions and activity!

The time has come for us to retire the community forums, but we will keep everything available for reading. There is a lot of valuable content written over the years, and you'll be able to access all of that. However, no new posts can be written, or old posts modified.

If you have questions, we recommend you use the Support function on the bottom right corner to contact our Customer Support directly.

Alternatively, if you wish to engage in a community discussion with other people, there are many active forums available. There is also an active, fan managed GENELEC COMMUNITY in Facebook, and many Genelec employees are active in the discussions there.

We are sorry for any possible inconvenience this may cause you, but we hope to hear from you through the other channels mentioned above.

Progressively louder rumbling on a 7050B

Youngling Viestejä: 0 Liittymispäivä: 8.1.2021 Viimeisimmät viestit

Greetings

With or without any signal or cable connected to it, the low level noise/rumbling becomes progressively louder after I turn it on. After a few hours it becomes very loud, like being close to a volcano erupting or something similar.

Then, if I leave it off for a few good hours, the noise level drops again to a minimal, but clearly perceivable still.

And so, I am kindly asking you, what could be the possible culprit, so that the electronics guy can go directly to the problem (subwoofer being out of warranty, and probably no official service in Romania) ?

Thank you greatly in advance!

All the best!

Check for problems of grounding. You can ask an electrician to do so. Second, the socket that the sub is plugged in could be connected in line with another one which has a noisy device in it such as a fridge.

There are several approaches for how to make a video louder: you can use a desktop program or if your video is stored on a smartphone, get an app for iPhone or Android. If you don’t want to download any apps, an online tool might be your choice. One of the options to consider is Movavi Video Editor Plus. With this video editor you can use the enchanse tool to make video louder and also edit it a little (filters, animation, music and so on) if you want of course. Here is the link to the editor I use www.movavi.com/support/how-to/how-to-make-video-louder.html.
