8030A Amp the same as 8030B?

I am listening to music now for about 5 years with my loved 8020A on my desktop.
Once I sold them to buy another pair of speakers, but then wanted to return to the small Genelecs - and bought a pair of 8020C. First I was happy because of having a newer pair, but after listening I was disappointed with the sound. They sounded more rough and harsh and not so acourat and organic - sorry, my english is too bad for discribing it.
I bought another pair of 8020A and everything was as good as it ever was.

Now I have this question about the 8030 - I know the 8030A and also love it. Now I`ve got the chance to buy a 8030BPM and I am a little scarry about beeing disappointed with the deal.
What can you say, is there everything identic in the A and B-model?

Bye, Ottmar

Hello Ottmar,

There are no changes to the amplifiers which would change the sound quality when it comes to either model version. It would be interesting to hear more about your observations and possibly see some in-room frequency response measurements.
