No folan, Genelec GLM bundles are not priced high in absolute measures. Expensive? Well, maybe, but that's rather relative and depends much on your budget but can't claim the prices are high. Go get the DSP competitor Meridian...and you'll notice what pricey means.
I praise my priceworthy pair of 8330 every day. A real steal IMO.

Hi Ilkka,
As mentioned above bundle price of 8330 is 300.00€ less compare to single units. I was expecting the difference to be even higher for the new more expensive 8340-8350 models.
Unfortunately I never had the chance to hear or test your SAM products but I own 8040 and I was never really happy with this speaker.
Anyway, I read in the specification of 8340 that it has new amplifiers (150W on both drivers) so I wonder if they have a brand new sound signature compared to older 8040?
In other words, if we disable the room correction of the speaker, we will hear the same sound just like 8040 or we will hear a brand new sound experience?

You have new and more powerful class D amplifiers, new DSP based crossover filters for flatter frequency response, improved power response and improved phase response (constant latency above 200 Hz). It is difficult to judge whether these improvements result as brand new sound experience as that is something different for all of us. But for sure they are very much different monitors compared to 8040.
