Iso Pad for 7270A Sub?

Hi all,

Is there an isolation pad recommended for use with Genelec's 7270A subwoofer?

I can't find anything (e.g., Auralex Subdude-HT) that ideally fits the footprint of this beast. And, given its weight, I wonder if it doesn't require something a bit more robust anyways.

Commercial or DIY recommendations are all welcome.

Thank you!

Hi,

I don't think there are many commercial options available in that size, or at least I haven't seen them. How about two Subdudes side by side?

I think I found something that'll work. I was mistakenly using the overall dimensions of the 7270a when, in fact, the contact footprint is merely 17" x 19" (roughly) which just fits onto Auralex' Subdude-HT, at 18" x 22". And, the HT supports up to 300 lbs., so it seems pretty much ideal. :D
