Does my 230V Genelec work on a 220 voltage outlet?

Hi,

I recently moved from Sweden to United States with my Genelecs 8030A that need to be powered with 230 Volts. Here in the US, I bought a step-up transformer from 110 V to 220/240 V, but now when I look closer at the transformer, it is only from 110 V to 220 V. In the shop, they said that this was OK for Sweden and the rest of Europe.

Now I wonder: can my Genelecs handle 220 V as an output, even though the voltage specified is 230V?

I googled this and it says basically everywhere that the great majority of electronic equipments work fine with the specified voltage +/- 10%, but I just want to make sure that this is also true for my 8030A.

Thank you so much!

Hi,

Yes, they accept 220 - 240V.
