I've owned and run several studios in the San Francisco area over the past 22 years, and I've enjoyed using Genelecs the entire time. These speakers and others like them have witnessed the creation of sound and music for The Budweiser Lizards, The AFLAC Duck, SEGA, YAHOO, GOT MILK, Coppola's Bram Stokers Dracula, Judge Dredd and Disney's The Wild among many many other large scale projects, and they were maintained and cared for gently the entire time. We did not use these for any heavy duty loud music mixing, and the speakers still sound fresh and transparent. There was absolutely No Smoking in any of my studios. They still have that crisp, powerful and transparent playback that they originally had when first purchased.
I'm looking to sell them now, and would like to get $1232.00 for them, but please feel free to send your B.O. if realistic for active monitors such as these.

I still have the speakers. Just keep trying my number, although mornings are best for me. I just happen to be very busy right now. Sorry to have been so out of touch.
