Thank you for all the years of Community discussions and activity!

The time has come for us to retire the community forums, but we will keep everything available for reading. There is a lot of valuable content written over the years, and you'll be able to access all of that. However, no new posts can be written, or old posts modified.

If you have questions, we recommend you use the Support function on the bottom right corner to contact our Customer Support directly.

Alternatively, if you wish to engage in a community discussion with other people, there are many active forums available. There is also an active, fan managed GENELEC COMMUNITY in Facebook, and many Genelec employees are active in the discussions there.

We are sorry for any possible inconvenience this may cause you, but we hope to hear from you through the other channels mentioned above.

the sound is very good and better than before when i had two 1037C and one sub 7070A

i have no stress listening and i like very much this setup

i think that the digital room correction is the way to have a high quality listening in both the pro and audiophile world.

Great!
My congratulations!
Could you give full list of your equipment?
Why you use AD9200 and not just AES to AES signal?
And why you choose 1238A not 1238CF even you still use two sub's?

in these days i have replaced Imac with Mac mini with Ram 8 gb

software player : Wavelab release 8.5

Weiss Int 202 connected to Mac mini through Firewire800/Firewire400

Weiss Medea connected to Int 202

Weiss Absyrtos (passive preamplifier made for me by Daniel Weiss) connected to Medea

Genelec AD9200A connected to Absyrtos

i have chosen to use Ad9200A because i want to start with the balanced analog signal of Medea

i have chosen 1238A and not 1238CF because i prefer to use a loudspeaker with greatest one woofer

instead of one with two smaller woofers

i have a question

if i send a digital stereo signal 16 bit 44,1 kHz to digital input of sub 7270A

is there an upsampling of this stereo digital signal before the correction by Glm ?

and in this case upsampling to what ? 24 bit and 192 kHz ?

Sorry for my late reply. Subwoofer signal is upsampled to 24 bit and 48 kHz. 192 kHz is not needed because subwoofer handles only low frequencies.
