Good-day,
May I use a passive PREAMP for the sole purpose VOLUME CONTROL to connect a DAC or CD player to the 7050B in a 2.1 setup for audio listening?
I intend to purchase the SCHIIT SYS PASSIVE PREAMP - INPUT IMPEDANCE: 10k ohms / OUTPUT IMPEDANCE: 5k ohms MAXIMUM.
Any other suggestions would be welcome & appreciated!!!!!

Hi,

Yes, you can use a passive preamp for that purpose. In fact our 9000A stereo volume controller works as a passive preamp. You might want to check that out.
