Setting up 8250A & GLM Questions

Hello

Right... just got some 8250A's with GLM module, so very excited, cant wait to road test them.

I was going through the manuals last night and have a number of questions concerning my setup, would appreciate some advice please.

1. Analogue and digital input: I currently have a focusrite saffire external audio interface therefore until I upgrade it, I cannot take advantage of the digital inputs. So I will use the Analogue inputs.
Currently in my setup the DAW stereo out is set to 0 DB, I then regulate my listening volume using a monitor volume control knob on my audio interface (this does not regulate the DAW output volume, so my mix level stays the same).
Now I believe the GLM software should take over controlling speaker listening volume?
If this is the case should the volume knob on the audio interface be set to max? otherwise this will modify the analogue level hitting the speaker, what gain (increase or decrease) should I set on the 8250 rear input? I realise I could continue using the monitoring volume knob on my audio interface to control volume but I would quite like to take advantage of the GLM software's 3 predefinable volume settings.

2. If I install the GLM software on my DAW to control speaker volume from my DAW (which I would like), will this interfere with my DAW software and audio interface (ASIO drivers)? I assume I would have to keep switching between my DAW software and GLM software to select new listening level settings or can the software work as a plugin inside my DAW?. (I don't want to change the master fader in my DAW to change speaker listening levels)

3. When testing my listening environment using GLM (to create the filter curve most suited to my studio) what volume should the speakers be at...? Or does volume have no bearing on the filter setting created...? sorry if I am being a bit thick.

Thanks

Installed the software and worked through it and pretty much answered all my own questions.
