newbie 5.1 question using 8020 or 6010's

Hi I'm new to Genelec but a long standing audiophile.
I'm think of a Genelec AV system but  slightly concerned over which model would best suit a domestic set-up. I'm tempted by the 5040 sub but notice that the Genelec site states this is fine with a pair of 8020's or 5 6010's but not a complete set-up with 8020's? instead the next size sub up is recommended but this is not available in home audio guise? The pro audio sub looks a bit too industrial for my taste.

My room is 5.5m x 2.8, listening position about 3m back. I'm think of

5x8020's with the 5040
5x6010's with the 5040
3x 8020 for the front duties with x2 6010's on the rear with the 5040 sub

Is there any reason not to use the 8020's in a 5.1 configuration with the 5040 sub? As that would be my preference

Hi,

5040 is not recommended because it doesn't have enough output capability for 8020 based surround system. You should look at F Two instead which will have similar output to 7050 but has the same outlook as 5040.
