TV with 8020A's: which subwoofer to select?

Dear all,

I own two 8020A's which I have currently connected to my TV (Philips 42PFL8007k) using an M-Audio interface.
I am thinking of extending my Genelec's with a subwoofer for two reasons:
1) obviously, to get a better responsiveness in lower frequencies
2) to be able to control the volume with a wireless remote control (right now, I can only control the volume by turning the knob on the interface or going deep inside the TV menu; direct control via the tv remote is not possible)

Hence I was thinking of buying either the F one or F two subwoofer. I would like to know if either of these subwoofers are compatible with my 8020A's and, if yes, which of the two would give me the best result?
Further, which bass roll off setting should then be used on the 8020A's?

My living room is 7m by 3.5m, the tv/speakers are placed against the long wall, not in the middle of this wall but on one side of the room (if that makes sense, only half of the room is tv/listening area).

Lastly, any advice on making the connection with the tv is appreciated, I am not sure if the headphone mini jack - RCA is the best way to go.

Hope you can help out, many thanks in advance!
Joris

Hi Joris,

F Two is the one you should go with. F One is meant for G One (similar to 6010) speakers. You don't need to engage the 85 Hz bass roll-off on the speakers because the F Two has bass management built-in. It will handle the crossover between the subwoofer and the speakers.

Headphone mini jack to RCA works usually without any problems.
