Hello! I would like to get some genelecs and this year at Musikmesse the new M series appeared.
But...Should I wait for the new M040? Or the 8040 model is better?
I don´t know what are the differences between both models. Are the 8040 over the M040?
That´s all!

that's something I like to know too!!!!
which produces better more accurate sound???? m040 or 8040a???
really genelec should have said which they consider a higher model in this terms to make it easier for buyers to target the one .......

Hi guys,

This is what I received on their FB wall (a vivid place by the way): "Hi Ulrich, the M Series is targeted for Home Studio so it is little bit more affordable than the 8000 Series.". Me personally I prefer the Aluminium housing of the 8000/8200 series, which makes them feel heavy, bullet proof, rock solid, and just like they last a lifetime. The texture of the new material looks cool though.

Hi Maximilian/Ulrich! Thanks for the info! Maybe a more specific answer will help better, but maybe it´s too early for that! Maybe in June...
