But i have a question about the audio volume.
I think the red light comes on fast in front of the speaker and the speaker sounding overloud.
How can i fix it ?
And do you have any idea on how i can play louder in my 8240?

All the best,,

Exceeding the maximum input range

I think your input signal might be exceeding the maximum input range of the analog input.

Does the Front Panel Warning Light come on even at low SPL?

Try turning the analogue input down a notch.
Then observe whether the Front Panel Warning Light comes on even at low SPL.

Does your signal originate in the digital domain?

If yes, try to find a way to supply the digital signal direct to the speakers.
Note that S/PDIF can be converted to AES/EBU with a simple converter.
It sounds better to avoid extra D/A & A/D conversions, will minimize risk of exceeding the maximum input range and maximize your safe SPL.

From the operating Manual:

Front Panel Warning Light
Normally the light on the front panel of an 8200 loudspeaker is green, indicating that the loudspeaker is in normal operational mode.
The overload light (red) is activated by several events:

- exceeding the maximum input range of the analog input
- exceeding the maximum input range of the digital input with large probability
- exceeding the output capacity of the power amplifier (clipping in the power amplifier) and thermal overload of the power amplifier or loudspeaker drivers (thermal protection has activated)
- if an error is detected in the AES/EBU audio data

If a red warning light appears, turn the analog source down! If the levels are already modest and a digital signal is being used, ensure that there are no bit errors in the AES/EBU digital audio data.
