Hi ! I need an advice about matching my SSL Alphalink analog out whith my 8250A, Alphalink is +22dBu = 0dBFS and 8250A +7dBu how do i match these signal ( does it work to take a 15 db attenuator ? like Shure or neutrik )
Thanks Jörgen

Hi again ! I dont use my 8250a in stand alone mode, and i am use GLM för volume control ( works great )
but the input of the AD clips "red led" very early ( i feel that the bit deep is low ) i got a RME-madi card feeding my Alphalink and i got to attenuate about 12-15 db in Totalmix.
How do i attenuate the signal before the speakers in a right way ?

Hello,

Passive line level attenuator should work fine. To ensure impedance matching and signal quality, it is best to use a unit with transformer isolated balanced outputs.
