Hi,

is it imperative to place a 5040A free on the floor (near a wall), or is it reasonable to place it in one of the lower compartments of the following rack (and two 6010 on top of it)?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible to place it there. The subwoofer might transmit some vibrations to the rack when played loud, but otherwise I don't see any possible problems.

I have now a setup with 2*6010 + 5040A placed in this rack. I am quite pleased with the sound and with the appearance.

The black monitor is certainly not a perfect fit, but I don't care.
