8050's on 220V 60Hz - Problem?

Youngling Viestejä: 2 Liittymispäivä: 26.11.2010 Viimeisimmät viestit
Hi guys,

I'm new here. I just got my gear over here from Europe (2x 8050's 230V/50Hz - European standard as I would say) to Brazil, where I will stay the next 2 years.
So, now I'm living in an area where they are using 110V/120V adn 60Hz.
I got two transformers, but they are just transforming the voltage to 220V, the frequency stays the same - 60Hz.
I'm a little anxious to plug them in - can anyone report similar experiencies?
Thanks in advance!

all the best

wulf

Ok, sorry guys - I solved it on my own.
On the 8050's label it's stated 50/60HZ 230V.

best
