would these improve my 8030's performance?

Hello,

I have a amazing sound system, which consists of a pair of genelec 8030a. Recently, I found something interesting by chance. The Cardas XLR Caps. At the cardas offical website, these caps are described as "fit over unused XLR connectors to eliminate EMI and RF noise absorption. They are non shorting and completely cover the XLR's opening with a solid shield of nickel and brass to prevent EMI and RFI from entering the chassis through the dielectric. This noise can create havoc with digital processing and software. Cardas caps also protect XLR's from dust and corrosion. "

So, I'm wondering if they will really help my sound system, however, I really have two unused xlr output connectors left on the speaks, don't I?

If they would have any effect, I bet Genelec would provide connector covers with the speakers.

I'd say snake oil.

You never know. Considering the huge sale volume of genelec, cutting off something that is not so important will increase the profit, but decrease our enjoyment :D . No offense.

Take my recent experience for example, I changed the power cables of 8030a with some better thicker copper cables. The improvement is huge!!!. My speakers now like a freaking mirror, never be depressed like before. well, comparatively. Everybody should think about it.
