Try Stewart Filmscreen. You can get it made to the size you want and also they have different screen surfaces to work with the amount of light you have in the room.

The mircroperferation pattern is also designed to work with high def 1080p pixel projectors. Some of the screens are ISF certified which basically means you can get a reference calibration out of them with the right projector.

You will need to get around 300mm separation from the speaker to the screen and also need a black background behind the screen to absorb the projector light passing through the mircoperforations. You should also put accoustic treatments on the wall behind the screen as some sound will refelect off the back of the screen, hit the wall and travel back out again.

The mircroperherations tend to dissaprear into the image at around a 3m viewing distance. You will be probably sitting quite close so that may have an impact on what you decide to do.

There are fabric screens such as Screen Research. I have found them to be a bit soft myself and a shootout with a Stewart screen a CEDIA showed the Stewart as delivering the better image. You will see the weave stretched out at your close range so that probably wont help you.

Hope this helps

Alan

I am using an acoustical transparent screen and I am very much satisfied with it.  it is the acoustic panel material (substrate) rather than fabric absorbing sound. The function of the noise reducing fabric is looking great and allows the sound to pass through the acoustic substrate.
