8030 Subwoofer Choice

Hi,

I am using a pair of genelec 8030C and looking to get a matching subwoofer. I understand the official recommendation is 7050 for stereo application. But I have the further concerns that let me hesitate between 7040 and 7050

1. 7040 is also recommended to supplement M030 which has really similar spec compared to 8030, so what is the rationale that 7040 is not recommended for 8030?

2. I noticed that the noise level of 7040 is <=5dB, while 7050 is <=15dB. Since I am listening in a rather quiet environment with moderate (not extremely high) volume, shall I select 7040 rather than 7050 given the noise spec? Let's say my max listening volume never go beyond 95dB, does it mean 7040 could be matched with 2x 8030?

3. My listening room’s size is 3.35m x 3.55m x 2.8m (height) and I am planning to do some minimal acoustic treatment i.e. bass trap and simple foam acoustic panel, what would be the woofer recommendation for room like this? I’m concerned of the standing wave issue.

Thanks,
