7370 dip switch settings in GLM3

Padawan Viestejä: 29 Liittymispäivä: 4.11.2015 Viimeisimmät viestit

My system consists of a pair of 8351 plus a 7370. I recently upgraded to GLM 3.0.0 and upgraded all the firmware. After calibrating I noticed when I double click the subwoofer icon and scroll down to the dip switch section the information seems to be wrong.

On the subwoofer ISS and Stored are set to “On” but in the GLM software is says OFF and MANUAL CTRLS.

I’ve tried the following - setting sub to factory settings; creating a new group; creating a new file; closing GLM and starting it again. None of these changed what is displayed in the dip switch section.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Nicholas

I had the same problem with one of my (old) 7370A. The software in the subwoofer got the flu or something, noticed it when the subwoofer didnt go into ISS.

Contacted Genelec, Jani Oksanen to be precise and he asked me to try the following and it solved the problem or flu :)

1: Switch the subwoofer on

2: Put all the dip switches in the ON position

3: Put all the dip switches again back to the OFF position

4: Disconnect the power cable from the subwoofer and wait for a couple of seconds

5: Connect the power cable again to the subwoofer

6: Now try to for example to set the STORED dip ON and now check if it works normally again from the editor in GLM.

Hope this helps!
