Crap, one of my 7370s got pretty beaten up in transport.

fixing whole chassis in finland costs slightly more than a new unit ;)

i got the name for the color, but apparently the suppliere got bought, names changed.

old name was Becker Acroma DH997 7018, does anybody know the new name?

Which section is damaged? The aluminum center or the MDF sandwich?

You can get MDF panels from Genelec and swap them yourself.

If the aluminum, consider gutting out the sub and sending the parts for powder coating.

@clearsignal:

it's the front MDF that's damaged.

German Genelec Distributor told me that swapping MDF yourself is impossible for laminar spiral enclosure.

i could have imagined stabilizing the enclosure with tension belts to swap MDF, been warned not to.

do you have 1st hand experience?

@Jani:

RAL 9004 is called signal black, online samples look like 1031, 1237... imho.

the subs look decidedly grey to me ;)

will get 9004 and report back only in case my doubts proove valid.

thanx!
