Genelec 8040BPM and Hairspray

Hello!

So I am abit concerned. I have two genelec 8040 at my home and a friend of mine was fixing her hair when she sprayed a few seconds of hairspray at about 2 meters away from the genelecs. From a distance I saw abit of the hairspray going into the woofer and when I felt the casing it was abit sticky.

Now I am wondering if this could give a negative effect on the performance or durability of the genelecs, because hairspray has a sticky texture when it dries up. It wasn't alot of hairspray that went in, but I just want to make sure that it did or did not effect my genelecs in any way.

Thanks in advance for answering!
