They are Big and look ridiculous sitting on my the small desk (being used in the field, also ridiculous carring them around back and forth. They are the best super nearfield monitors I have used, The coaxial makes it possible No one has seen such a big montor setup on a small desk like this and used so close, they laugh but the laughter stops when the sit in front of it and try it out.

Already a few went and ordered themselves a pair to use ultra nearfield purpose.

Does Genelec make a soft carry bag for these? I have carry bags for my other pairs but have not seen one for this model, can the 8040 bag be used for it? I think the dimensions might be a bit to big for it.

you can really pick out subtle issues with these its like an electron microscope for audio.

Hello,

Thank you for your great feedback, I'm glad to hear you have enjoyed the 8341A's!

I'm sorry to inform you that currently we do not have a softcarry bag available for the 8341A's.

8040 bag is unfortunately not suitable, as the dimensions of 8341A's is slightly different and also the 8040 bag would not give enough protection for the Coaxial. If you come up with your own bag -solution, please make sure that the Coaxial does not get any pressure or get in touch with the packing material. We may have some Pelicase's available for 8341A's, and if you would be interested on those please send an e-mail to service@genelec.com and I can give you more information regarding the Pelicases.

Best Regards,
