Volume controll settings

I use my Genelec 8330 in combi with a 7350 in my living room. I wondered what would be the best pre settings to controll the volumen:

1. Genelec 100% Volume (settings in GLM to 0 dB), Pre-Amp Volume controll between e.g. 10 and 50

2. Genelec e.g 30% Volume (settings e.g. -50 dB), Pre-Amp Volume controll between e.g. 60 and 100

What would be your advise?

The reason why asking this stupid question: My Oppo bdp 105 might output better quality in higher volume settings (analog output). What about the Genelecs amps?

In case No 2 I need to be sure, that the pre settings via GLM will be safely stored in the monitor and should not go back to 0 dB by what ever reason...

Thanks for your support!

I am a proud owner of 8350 SAM monitors, and my question is -

At what level should I set the volume knob on the rear of the monitors?

Thank you, and hail Genelec!
