Stand plates: Difference between 8051-408 and 8050-408?

Hello,

The stand plates for the 8000 series are called 8010-408, ..., 8040-408, but then 8051-408. Why the 1? And how are they different from the 8050-408 stand plates, which I see on sale and assume are some older version of the same thing?

Same plates for 8050/8350 & 8351 as they are the same sizes.

Yes, but there seems to be two plate models for that size, 8050-408 and 8051-408. The catalogue [1] only mentions the latter, but many dealers seem to still be selling the former.

Same stuff.. :) different names I guess.

8050 & 8351.. have the same size isopod so the plate is also the same.  They are all in the "size5" of the genelec "egg" family branch :)
