1029a can't be turned mute

Hi everyone,

I just purchased a pair of 1029a a few days ago. They are good speakers, but unfortunately I found some small problems with them.

I tried to mute both of the speakers by turning the front knobs. But even if they are turned to minimum, the music keeps going from the right speaker.

Can you guys please tell me what should I do to fix it? I'm using 2018 13" macbook pro with korg dsd dac-100 in my whole system.

And also everytime when I try to switch the music (especially dsd), there will always be a huge clap sound come out of the right speaker.

Thank you!
