8330s - very quiet and emitting white noise

Hello, I am looking for some assistance with my 8330s.  Basically after running AutoCal, the system seems to be configured very quietly.  I need to turn the physical volume control knob to get to a reasonable listening level.  Additionally, the monitors emit white noise when no audio signal is being passed through them, which increases in volume as I turn up the overall volume.  Also, the volume setting wobbles around, causing the volume to increase and decrease randomly.  Could you please provide guidance as to what I should do to diagnose this properly please?

Hello,

Sorry to hear about the problems. We have done improvements to latest GLM, and I would recommend following:

1. Download latest GLM 3.1.1 https://www.genelec.com/glm

2. Go to Group|Store Group Settings|Start Up Level 0dB (or -20dB or whatever preferred) | Standalone volume control max level setting 0dB|

Please let me know if this does not solve the issue.
