genelec 7070A help

My 7070A Subwoofer appears to work fine, have tested all channels with a sweep tome to 1030A - all good.

However, I notice when I first turn the 7070A on (with or without sources connected) the Red LED protection light comes on and gradually turns from Amber to Green. This happend with Input Level High or Low. Is this a sign of a fault or is this normal behaviour?

should be normal.

I have several sets that do the same.

I guess the protection circuits are on during power up, that cuts out the spike from the amps power up cycle.
