7350A without GLM

The point of SAM is to use the GLM to calibrate.

however I wonder how does 7350A work default out of the box with analog 8000 series speakers?

sure!

the digital sub has a bit of a delay. like 80cm long delay.

you can make up for this in placement or maybe it doesn't really matter to begin with.

Frankly I think I can’t afford GLM at the moment as things look uncertain at work .

there is no way to adjust phase or  crossover or such things without the glm box right?

it would be nice to have option of GLM box rental as its a bit expensive and basically won’t be needed after calibration right?

If you're using them in analog mode, you won't need the GLM.

If you switch to digital input, you'll need the GLM set to adjust the volume.

And yes, you need glm for phase ect.

if the tops are analog, you can only use the defaul 85Hz crossover.

Hi

thanks that’s pretty cool. Yes I intend to use them in analog mode.

about the slight delay mentioned above, does that also happen in analog mode? I guess so, right?

I guess I won’t be minding about the phase then. How much is that actually a problem?

Yeah. It's just the delay of the digital dsp, no way to bypass.

I don't think it's much of a problem.

everybody who has the sub 80cm further from the ears than one of the tops has the same problem. which is basically everybody.

adjusting the phase should probably kinda fix this i guess?

Ahhh it sounds so damn good even with just the default setting just plugging it in via analog. My room has a lot of glass wool panels so this maybe helps but, GOSH this just sounds perfect,  my ears don't feel any imbalance to the sound. Tight and controlled not too much and not too little, and the sound blends in perfectly with the main speakers, it sounds like the bass is coming from them, not the sub.
This is best thing that has happened to my studio ever.

Hello,

Just want to mention, if GLM capabilities or Digital signal is not needed- then I would recommend the 7050C subwoofer.
