New GLM Build for macOS Catalina

Jani...All - I need a new GLM build that works with Catalina. I have been asking every month for the last four.  I purchased new monitors and the GLM kit at the time Catalina came out without knowing it wasn't compatible.  Please outsource development if you don't have the bandwidth in-house.  I'm an unhappy new customer!  Please update everyone.

Go complain to apple about it.

They changed a whole lot with this OS, told hardly anybody what the changes where gonna be in advance and half the world has to scrambling to get things working again.

Don't upgrade your OS without checking compatibility, particullary on the mac.

It seems you failed to read the post you're responding to. New Apple hardware comes with the latest OS. Users are not free to downgrade. Please stop apologizing for Genelec. OS - X has been 64-bit capable for over ten years and actively warning users and application developers for over three about this change.

No folks... it's not the customer who has to adapt. Here, we're talking about very expensive studio monitors and subwoofers. ALL the other companies have by now managed to make their drivers and softwares work on 10.15. I paid an awful lot of money on my speaker system and the guys from Genelec said that within O1 2020 they would release a Beta. I mean... technically we're still in Q1. But I don't think that this is professional.

Even though every program I own is current with 10.15, I don't blame Genelec, just kidding, yes I do...

Dear All,

I'm sorry to inform, the latest information I have received from our R&D is that the release for Beta-version will be delayed from the previous estimation, and at this point we do not have any time estimation share. We will update this thread on the following link, as soon as we can share more information: https://community.genelec.com/forum/-/message_boards/message/1499047#/

GLM software is being updated to be compatible with Mac OS X Catalina (10.15). The work is progressing well. Initially, the software becomes available as a Beta for end-customer evaluation.  We will let you know as soon as it becomes available.

This thread will be locked as there is many threads regarding this already. To continue discussion and share feedback, please go to this thread: https://community.genelec.com/forum/-/message_boards/message/1499130#/

Best Regards,
Jani Oksanen
