Genelec 8260A with RME ADI-2-Pro FS R Black Edition.

I bought a RME ADI-2-Pro FS R Black Edition recently.

Because It has remote control now, “R” stand for Remote. :)

I hooked up my 8260A with AES/EBU cable.

Because ADI-2-Pro can make Digital out copy Analogue out - Volume, EQ, Loudness … everything.

It’s really convenient to listen to music.

I can control all functions with the remote control.

Now I can finally turn off the GLM kit and keep it hidden. :)

Excellent! I got the limited ADI-2 Pro FS Black Edition that I'm using with my 8331s (AES) and headphones and it's met all expectations. Maybe I'll also get the R edition for media center for the remote :)

Since the GLM software is not compatible with macOS Catalina, I am seeking a way to control the 8331 solely from the RME interface. Could you help out by providing the settings configuration you are using to achieve what you're doing? I tried changing Setup > Options > Dig. Out Source to Main Out but getting a signal. On screen, the "1/2" at lower left reads "off".

Thanks!

ok

On screen, the "1/2" at lower left reads "off".

==> I guess because of headphones are connected.

if you want to listen headphones and speakers simultaneously,

press SETUP --> Turn the lower encoder 2 until "Phones"

--> go down to "Mute v. TRS 3/4" -->  "OFF"

now, you can listen headphones and speakers simultaneously
