8320 vs 8030 need a friendly suggestion

Hi,

I'm a happy owner of 8010A that I bought initially for portability but use it for writing music at my home studio. I have a good deal on buying a pair of 8320 AMP or 8030 BWM for almost the same price but since my working place is not perfect (bedroom studio) I thought about utilising GLM with 8320 or Sonarworks with 8030 that I would have to buy separately. Obviously with 8030 I would be getting more lows that I'm rather missing with 8010 (I'm doing theatre/ film music and electronics) without buying subwoofer but I'm not sure if Sonarworks would work as efficient as GLM. Anyway I can't really make my mind... any suggestions would be really welcome.

Thanks so much!

Whatever gives you the biggest speaker.

GLM and Sonarwork do the same thing.

GLM is more convenient, stores settings reliably inside the monitor, has useful genlec specific features, best volume control ever.

Sonarworks probably has more bands, more esoteric features.

What you really want is 8341s with GLM, but they're a bit expensive.

Thanks so much for your suggestion I think I will actually save a bit more for 8331 or 8341. During the pandemic I work remotely from home and 8010A are enough for the time being.
