Compatibility 8240 DSP & GLM2 vs. GLM3

Sorry if this question has already been asked and answered but I've been searching the forum for a reasonable amount of time and haven't found anything which clearly susses it out for me.

With that out of the way, I have a pair of 8240 DSP and was considering a calibration utility and wanted to know if they're compatible with either or both GLM v2 or v3 and which one makes more sense for my setup. For example if the features that are new in GLM3 are something my monitors can't take advantage of so v2 would be the smart choice, etc.

Cheers

Robert

Hello, Robert!

All of the GLM software versions support 82XX-series models, but GLM 2 and 3 software are only supported by our newest network adapter (8300-601). Theoretically you can use old network adapter (8200-602) with GLM 1.5 software to calibrate your speakers. Though GLM 1.5 is not anymore supported and we therefore cannot guarantee its proper functioning.

We recommend to use our new network adapter (8300-601) with GLM 3 software for best experience, improved calibration process and other features.
