8010A Slowly Blinking Green Light issue?

Youngling Posts: 2 Join Date: 8/3/20 Recent Posts

Hello everyone, I have two 8010A, all worked perfectly untill a few days ago. I went home at night and turned on the power. One of my 8010A stopped working. there is no sound coming out, while only the LED indicator on the front panel is blinking green with a slow flashing frequency. The another one is fine. I have tried to swap the power cords of the two 8010A, but with no luck, the problem 8010a still keeps blinking green. Please help me, what should I do? Thank you.

ADD: I turned on the "ISS DISABLE", and the indicator light was keeping green, sound coming out, then I turned it back to "OFF". Now everything is back to normal.

NEWS at 2021/06/22:

After 10 months, unfortunately, the issue described above suddenly reappeared when I was using the speakers. No luck with turning ON or OFF the "ISS DISABLE" DIP switch.
Then, I unplug the audio input cable, "ISS DISABLE" DIP switch to ON, and keep the power on. After about 10 minutes of green light flashing, the issue was disappeared by itself. Now it can work as normal again. Very weird.
I will continue to pay attention to this issue.

After several hours of use, another issue appeared. The indicator light would occasionally flash a few times and then returned to normal. This situation will happen repeatedly. DAMN!

Is there an unexpected hardware issue on my 8010A?

Green blink every 10 sec.:

Monitor is an ISS power saving sleep state.

”There is a slight delay in the automatic power- ing up. If this is undesirable, the ISSTM function can be disabled by setting the “ISS DISABLE” switch on the back panel to “ON” position. In this mode, the monitor is powered on and off using the power switch on the back panel.”

Thank you very much for your reply, the problem has been solved, as you said, I turned on the "ISS DISABLE", and the indicator light was keeping green, sound coming out, then I turned it back to "OFF". Now everything is back to normal.

What makes me feel helpless and confused is that I tried to press the power button many times, but there was no response at all. I even tried to re-plug the power cord directly, the problem still exists. The blink is about 1/s.

Thank you!
