Can I pair 8040A with 8040B ?

I have one 8040A, and would need a pair for it. It appears the A revision is not that well available, so I was wondering if I can use a B revision as a pair for it ?
From the forum I see that the only difference should be the ISS system. So I would need to manually power on/off the 8040A, but is there any other drawbacks ?

A and B models are acoustically identical. You can use these models together as stereo pair. ISS is indeed the only difference and you can disable it on B version if you like.
