Genelec the Ones temperature

Hi. I just setup my speakers for the first time (8341x2 + 7350x2) and after 20 minutes or so checked the temperature in GLM and it's showing 47' Celsius (which is above the 35'degree C limit).

The outside temp here currently is 27C. There's an ocean breeze coming in my living room and zero direct sunlight. The subwoofers are cold to the touch on the outside. It seems like the temp sensors must be either broken or the GLM is perhaps inaccurate? Should I be concerned and turning them off when the temp is above 35'C in GLM? Thanks!

Some additional info. I'm using the latest version of GLM (3.2.0) on Mojave 10.14.4. I noticed there is a  firmware update available for the speakers but haven't applied it yet. All of the speakers have more than the recommended minimum clearance around them.

Hello, Rand777!

47 degree Celsius is within normal operation temperature of the speaker. The temperature of speakers can vary depending on operating environment. The limit of 35'C degrees limit is for operating environment. So there is no need to worry as long as temperature in your room is below 35'C and speakers have enough free space around them for ventilation.

I would recommend to update speakers' firmware as it ensures stability and proper working of the speakers.
