Genelec G3 not going in standby

Hi,

I have newly bought pair of G3s connected to a Yamaha WXC-50 streamer with RCA-cables
Now I am reading the manual and noticed that G3s have this autostart function and the loudspeakers should go into the standby mode after 1 hour after playback stops.
I tested the speakers and listened some music and the next day I am wondering have the speakers been powered ON all night...

The WXC-50 is in offline mode (standby) and no any playback is in use but the G3s have their LEDs on and very quiet hissing sound coming from them as if they were on and not in standby mode.

I this normal or should the standby mode work differently (no hissing sound and no leds)? And how do I get the standby to work in these G3s?
I maybe a newbie also because these are my first active spekers and genelecs.

Thank you!

Hello, Mitiih!

Please, make sure that on the back panel ISS switch is in "ON" position. LED will turn off as speaker goes into standby mode after about an hour of no signal input. If the switch is already on and problem still exists I would suggest you to try to leave only power cord connected to the speaker and see what happens.

Let me know how it goes!

Yes, thanks for that. I googled about it and some models has ISS Disabled -switch which should be in OFF status if you want to enable ISS but looks like in G3s have to enable ISS specifically and switch it to ON. Now that standby works like it should!
