Glm startup and standalone volume level

Hey. I have genelec sam bundle 8330 a. And i have 2 problems with volume. First of all when i start playing music on my monitors through preamplifier the music always starts at max vol. And also i feel like i am not getting the max volume from my monitors. I think these problems have something to do with glm group volume settings. So how should i set my starup and standalone volume for optimal and high level volume and so that my speakers dont always start at max volume. I only use my monitors to listen music and sometimes they are connected to my television. Thanks for helping the guy who doesnt know a lot about hifi.

In GLM goto [Group] > [Store Group Settings] to define a startup level of your monitors.
