Question about some Genelec 1030A's

I've owned a pair for over a year now, that haven't had issues until now. The left speaker, when it first turns on, crackles and sizzles a bit and sometimes emits a very quiet but perceptible high frequency hum. Typically it all stops after the speaker has been on for 5 minutes or so, but I definitely notice that sometimes while playing music through the speaker, it audibly cracks. It's not guarantee though, sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't.

Unsure if I should look at getting it serviced, or the ports have gotten dusty over time and just need a thorough cleaning, or what. What do you all suggest I do? Or is this just the inevitable decline of a decade old speaker that I bought used at a pawn shop?

Any experience with these puppies or recommendations on simple things to look for that I could fix myself without a professional would be awesome. Im happy taking the speaker apart and inspecting it if I really have to....I just wonder what I'd be looking for. https://getappvalley.com/

Well I think I'm making an upgrade in my monitors really soon here, and I've found a decent deal on a pair of Genelec 1030a's. I see a lot of good press here and elsewhere about the 1031s, I'm curious if any of you have them or have heard good or bad about the 1030s? Also, do you know of any other must have monitors in that $1000 used price range? I've heard enough bad about the Mackie HR824s to not really consider them, but are the 624s much better? Not quite enough cash to get some BM6's, I just need something that's going to be a good step up from my KRK V6s now. Thanks for your help. https://peepmerch.store/product/crybaby-half-colored-hoodie/
