Low volume on 8351A

Hello,

I have bought a used pair of 8351A. Now setting them up in my studio i have a rather low volume output from the speakers even when i put all my gain controls to maximum.
I do not own the GLM Kit and wondering if it can be the startup volume settings of the previews owner that is still stored. On Switch Group 2 - manual control is active. Is there a way to restore the speakers to factory settings without the GLM Kit? Thanks in advance

Hello,

Sorry to hear about this. It is possible previous owner GLM data is stored, and despite the Stored DIP-switch is set to Off there can be some settings activated.

Please contact us at service@genelec.com and inform us:

1. Where are you currently living

2. Serial number of the products

Best regards,
Jani Oksanen
