9310AM GLM Volume Control Not Smooth

Hello,

I'm having some issues with my 9310AM volume control. It doesn't smoothly increase volume. That is, if I move it from the -120db position just a little bit, it quickly reaches -50dB (moving it no more than about 20-30 degrees). After that it seems to slow down. Is this intended? I'd expect a smooth increase in volume from -120dB to 0dB throughout the range of the volume control. Is there a way to calibrate it?

Okay, I seemed to fix it. I unplugged it from the GLM Adapter, set it all the way to the left (-120dB), and plugged it back in. After that the volume rate is fixed. I suppose it got out of wack somehow.

Ah nevermind. It seems the 3.5mm jack has developed a loose connection, since wiggling it causes the volume to fluctuate. I will contact the dealer I purchased it from.

Looking at pictures of it now, it looks like the cable was beefed up in recent revisions? In retrospect, I probably should have just bought the wireless controller.

I like the cabled one much better, most precise control i've ever had.

Have two of them, never had a problem, your thing was likely a rare outlier...

Did I mention I have a wireless controller to sell ;-)
