Subwoofer bypass

Hi,

I have a question about how the sub bypass works with GLM.

I've got a pair of 8340s and I am considering getting the 7360.

After calibrating them together with the GLM, if I was to bypass the sub using the bypass switch, the 8340s would become full range. Would the GLM settings on the 8340s have the correct notches below the crossover frequency that was previously handled by the sub? e.g. would the notches below 85Hz be set correctly on the 8340s as if I had done the calibration without the sub in the first place? Or would the 8340s only store the notches above the crossover frequency so when bypassing the sub the low frequencies are no longer optimal?

Thank you in advance

Kind regards

Dave

Hmm, i don't think using the electrical bypass switch on the sub is still gonna work right.
With GLM you bypass the sub in the software.
And every speaker always gets measured at - and the corretions are applied to - the full frequency range.
So no, no need to worry, except of for remembering to hit the new bypass button inside GLM software.
