Using a 8020C and a 8020D speaker together

Hi there,

I already own a single 8020C speaker which I would like to use in a stereo setup. I thought of buying a single 8020D speaker and combine the two. It seems though that despite the name they are pretty different speakers: Different amplifiers and the 8020C has a volume control which the 8020D does not. Do you think they can easily be used together? I would be very thankful for any advice on this.

Best regards

Marc
