Hi all,

i m interested in the Genelec 8331, I have a RME UFX+ with an AES/EBU port IN and OUT (shown in the picture) , how could I connect them with the 8331s in AES/EBU?

Sure i can use  the XLR outputs but how does it work with AES/EBU? Do i need 2 AES/EBU ports or i rely 1 cable from my RME to a speaker to the IN, then an other cable AES/EBU from the OUT speaker to the other and it s done?

Can you explain me pls ? Maybe a draw would be nice^^

How big is the sound difference between the use of a  XLR or a digital AES/EBU cable?

What is the best to use if i use the GLM kit?

How do you advise me to connect them?

Thanks your answers,

Alex
